Nachdem der erste Teil von „Reiseplanung für Anfänger“ fertiggestellt und gedruckt war, begann für mich eine neue, unerwartete Etappe. Der Torleyunicorn Verlag hatte bereits einige Exemplare an Kindergärten verkauft, und die Resonanz war überwältigend – Kinder und Eltern liebten die Geschichte.
Eines Tages erreichte mich eine E-Mail vom Verlag – mit einer wunderbaren Nachricht: Es würde eine Fortsetzung geben. Der Titel: „Reiseplanung für Fortgeschrittene“.
Mit dem neuen Manuskript in den Händen wusste ich sofort, dass dies die perfekte Gelegenheit war, meine Arbeit weiterzuentwickeln. Mein Ziel war klar: Die Illustrationen sollten lebendiger, ausdrucksstärker und dynamischer werden. Ich wollte, dass die Charaktere atmen, lachen, sich bewegen – dass man beim Blättern das Gefühl bekommt, mitten in ihrer Welt zu sein. Ich las die Geschichte mehrmals, tauchte in jede Szene ein und begann, erste Skizzen zu zeichnen. In einem kreativen Austausch mit dem Torleyunicorn Verlag besprachen wir Ideen, Farben und Stimmungen, bis alles stimmig war. Doch nicht nur die Illustrationen machten einen Schritt nach vorn – auch das Layout entwickelte sich weiter. Es bekam mehr Bewegung, mehr Rhythmus, und passte sich den neuen Bildern perfekt an.
Unser gemeinsamer Einsatz, unsere Leidenschaft und Liebe zum Detail zeigen sich schon auf dem Buchcover: Es ist ein kleines Versprechen an alle Leser – dass diese Reise mit noch mehr Fantasie, Farbe und Freude weitergeht.

After the first part of “Travel Planning for Beginners” was completed and printed, a new and unexpected chapter began. The Torleyunicorn Verlag had already sold several copies to kindergartens, and the feedback was heartwarming — children and parents truly loved the story.
One day, an email from the publisher arrived with wonderful news: There would be a sequel — titled “Travel Planning for Advanced Learners.”
With the new manuscript in my hands, I immediately knew this was my chance to grow artistically. My goal was clear: to take the illustrations to the next level — to bring in more movement, more emotion, and more life. I wanted the characters to breathe, to laugh, to feel — so that every page would draw readers right into their world. I read the story several times, immersing myself in each scene before creating my first sketches. Together with the Torleyunicorn Verlag, we refined ideas, discussed colors and moods, and shaped the visual direction of the book. But it wasn’t only the illustrations that evolved — the layout also gained new rhythm and energy, adapting perfectly to the flow of the images.
Our shared effort, passion, and love for this project are already visible on the book cover itself — a small promise to readers that this journey continues with even more imagination, color, and joy.

Después de terminar e imprimir la primera parte de “Planificación de viaje para principiantes”, comenzó una nueva y emocionante etapa. La editorial Torleyunicorn Verlag ya había vendido varios ejemplares a jardines de infancia, y la respuesta fue maravillosa: a los niños y a los padres les encantó la historia.
Un día recibí un correo electrónico del editorial con una gran noticia: habría una continuación, titulada “Planificación de viaje para avanzados.”
Con el nuevo manuscrito en mis manos, supe de inmediato que era una oportunidad para seguir creciendo como artista. Mi objetivo era claro: mejorar las ilustraciones, darles más dinamismo y movimiento, y hacer que los personajes se sintieran más vivos, llenos de emoción y expresión. Quería que cada página transportara al lector directamente al corazón de la historia. Leí la historia varias veces, me sumergí en cada escena y empecé a crear los primeros bocetos. En reuniones con Torleyunicorn Verlag, intercambiamos ideas, colores y sensaciones, dando forma a la dirección visual del libro. Pero no solo las ilustraciones evolucionaron: el diseño también ganó movimiento y ritmo, adaptándose a la nueva energía de las imágenes.
Nuestro esfuerzo, dedicación y amor por este proyecto se reflejan ya en la portada del libro, una pequeña promesa para todos los lectores: que este viaje continúa con aún más fantasía, color y alegría.
